My favorite place in the world is a toss-up between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a cave in New Zealand. My least favorite place in the world, summer or winter, is Fort Dix, New Jersey. I spent one-fifth of my twenties in Iraq carrying an M16 assault rifle and driving 18 wheels.
I have a B.S. in Neuroscience with a Chemistry Minor, a Master of Divinity with Chaplaincy Specialization, a publication in the Journal of Cell Science, and a publication in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology.
My best friends are also in my immediate, biological family.
Presently, I’m a thirty-something living in Seattle with my sweetheart in a tucked away townhouse by the beautiful Puget Sound. I’m a Case Manager by day, fiddle player by night, and do a little politicking with the rest of my time. My future dreams include ordination in the United Church to become a military chaplain. I love God and Allah and Jesus and Mother Earth and every good manifestation of the divine spark/breath/light that is present in all creation. If I could sum up my belief system in one word it would be: Namaste.
I am strong and warm and wild and free.
